PL Week 3 is done!

Well, hi there!!

After a crazy, busy week and especially weekend (4 birthday parties, 3 days, 1 x 3 year old, 1 x 5 month old and 1 husband away at work!!) I managed to complete week 3 of my PL. I am super happy that so far I have stayed up to date especially considering how busy this time of year is for my family!!

I have included not 1 but 2 inserts this week - my oldest son had a birthday and we managed a couple of extra shots that just HAD to printed at 4x6 to be included!

First up is the double page spread

I just want to say that I had to include the one of Master Hunter with his worm as Master Jacob has been trying for weeks to get him to play with it and that day he actually grabbed hold of it and was not only playing with it but giving it big cuddles - my boys are so cute!!

This is pretty straight forward but I just wanted to point out that my beautiful niece (who turned 14 yesterday) was totally conned by Jacob to read to him - he absolutely adores her (and I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual!)

The front of my 1st insert. 4x6 and this photo was just snapped I think by chance by our wonderful friend Alicia on Jacob's birthday. We had all gone to our local Macca's for a special treat for Jacob and after dinner and play we were sitting there quietly and this was captured =)

Back of 4x6 insert. The journalling around the photo says "Jacob's last present from us. We waited till Alan was home and Jacob had a HUGE grin on his face when I wheeled it out!"

This next insert is a Bazzill Lickety Slippers insert that is 12 6x4's with a fold.

Up first is the day before his birthday, "helping" with the cake and the morning of his birthday.

This is the insert opened up including the party invitation and also the lolly bag name tag (which I haven't yet worked out how to mount etc so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!). The cake and present fun on the day of his party.

And last up is the back of the folding insert. We had a trip to a local park in the afternoon of Jacob's party (top), his 1st ride on his new bike and lastly a not too bad family photo taken on the day of Jacob's birthday party.

As always, thanks for stopping in (and this time for reading all my rambling's!!) and feel free to leave me some love =)

Saturated Canary Challenge

Well, I love, love, love Krista's work over at Saturated Canary and recently stumbled upon her other blog - Saturated Canary Challenge Blog so thought I would have a play with one of her beautiful stamps and picked Fintastic.

The challenge theme is Inspired by a movie and as soon as I saw this little beauty I was taken back to when I was about 8 or 10 and saw the movie Splash (starring Darryl Hannah) so here is my entry, hope you like it!

I think I shall give this to my beautiful niece Courtney who will be turning 14 next week :)

As always, thanks for stopping in and have a great night :)

PL Week 2

Well I'm super impressed with myself as today I finished both my ATC's for a swap (I will share a photo when they are all sent back) which was Fairytales/Storybooks and I also completed Week 2 of my PL! So here goes:

Here is both completed pages:

Here is LHS:

Here is RHS:

Week 2 includes another insert as I spent last Saturday morning with my sister and her partner and my boys at Coogee Beach Marina (here in WA) and got a heap of photo's I just couldn't not include! And, if you haven't been there and are local, I highly recommend - especially if you have young children.

Front of insert (this is a WRMK PP):

And back of insert:

I am off to feed the baby and probably read a bunch of books to my now 3 year old little man after which I hope to be working on my goodies from Angie for this weeks stamps :)

Have a great night (or day!) whatever you may be doing!!

For My 1st Ever Post....

Firstly, a massive thank you to the wonderful Kellie Winnell over at Give a Girl a Blog for the design (and very quickly I might add!!) of my brand new blog! I absolutely love it!!

Here goes:

Well, since it is my big boy's 3rd Birthday tomorrow first up is the card I created (only today!) for him. He has a thing for dinosaur's at the moment for those of you that don't know!!

Here are the lolly bags which I put together last night for Jacob's party on Sunday - we had guests today that can't make Sunday but I didn't want them to miss out on the goodies. But, as usual, I forgot to give them out!! Der!

Somehow or other this week as well I have finally gotten around to doing up a sign for Hunter's bedroom door.

Well, thanks for dropping in! I'm off to ice 2 dozen cupcakes and wrap some presents! Have a great night :)
