Tiddly Inks DT Call

Well, I think the title says it all!!

I have very recently been introduced to the very gorgeous designs of the talented Christy over at Tiddly Inks and have been totally inspired. My first image that I coloured up (and gave away!!) was so much fun to colour and create a card with, that when I saw they were having a DT call I just had to apply!!

I chose this image because

1. I love Wryn, she is so super cute!
2. I love Halloween - though we don't celebrate it here!!
3. I HAD to pick my favourite image to colour and though there were a few this one jumped out at me more than anything else so here is Witchy Wryn on my Halloween inspired card.

Needless to say I had SOOO much fun colouring her and putting this card together. Here it is:

And a close-up of my colouring :)

Here are the copic colours I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11 and R20
Hair: E50, E53, E43, E57
Clothes (black): W1, W3, W5, W7
(orange): YR000, YR04, YR15, YR07
Shoes: W1, W3, W5, W7, W9
Ground: W0, W1, W3, W5
Cat: W1, W3, W5

I started with a kraft base and then decided to colour her up by matching my copics to the paper I used - "Love Potion" by Fancy Pants. I used both the front and back of this paper. I have also incorporated some Tangerine Tango DSP from Stampin Up, an acetate piece from Kaisercraft's 13th Hour collection, some pink paislee ribbons sprayed with Heidi Swapp colour shine in mustard and primrose (to get the orange) and black. I also added the resin piece and some sequins from my stash. Oh, and I inked all the edges with black ink.

Thank you for stopping by!

Make a Wish Dreamy Dragon

Hello there my lovely followers!

Just thought I was well over due for a share so today I am sharing with you a card I made a little while ago for a very good friend of mine for her birthday.

I used a gorgeous stamp from Whimsy and it is called Dreamy Dragon.

I coloured the image 1st and then matched the colours with card stock etc that I had here at home so I don't actually have any details for you except that I KNOW for sure that the pink ink I have used for the sentiment and the pink marker for the doodling is Melon Mambo from Stampin Up!

Without further ado here is the little cutie (if I do say so myself!!)

You can see much better in the close up that I have also done a stippled background around him. This was my very 1st attempt at stippling and I think I did a pretty reasonable job!!

I'm pretty sure that my friend not only got a little surprise with the arrival of this little guy but actually loved him!!

Thanks for stopping by to say hi and feel free to leave me some love :)

Fairy Card

Today I am here to share with you my latest creation for Angie Delarie :)

She has drawn up some cute little fairies that we got to play with and here is what I did with Fairy 3 :) These lil cuties can be purchased here.

I coloured her up with copics and here are the colours I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11 and R20
Hair: E11, E15, E17 and E19
Heart: RV02, RV04, RV06 and RV09
Green: YG61 and YG67
Yellow: Y11, Y13 and Y15
Orange: YR000, YR02 and YR04

I used Stampin" Up cardstock and papers and some cute little flowers I found in my stash along with some MME twine and a sticker from My Little Yellow Bicycle "Hello Spring" collection.

And just a couple of close ups of this cute little fairy :)

I don't know if you have noticed but I think my colouring has improved a heap and would like to give full credit to Alyce over at Kit and Clowder!! She colours her images in such an amazing way and I am totally in love with everything she does!! And she has the best video tutorials!!

I'm also sharing a sneaky peek of a wedding card I worked on earlier in the week - a sneak peek cause the wedding is tomorrow and I want the bride and groom to see it before sharing it in full :)

Well Happy Thursday to all of you my lovely blog readers and I hope to back early next week with some more completed Project Life pages :)

Rawr Means I Love You in Dinosaur

Hello there!!

Well I am actually here to share with you today a 12x12 layout I did! Without any help at all either!!

I started this on retreat in May and knew that it needed something else and Charms Creations Sketch Challenge for May gave me the last little bit of inspiration I needed! Head over to her FB page (here) - she makes the gorgeous felt embellies I have used (the star and the banner) and runs challenges every month.

Without further ado here is my page of my gorgeous big boy at a birthday party last year.

I have used a Bazzill Range called Dino-Mite (don't you just LOVE it!!) and the chevrons have been cut from a co-ordinating piece of 12x12 from the EP Brothers Mini Theme. The star and the flag are both from Charms Creations and my title is actually from a Little Yellow Bicycle Range called Babysaurus.

Here is a close up of the title - Jacob is ALWAYS roaring - to the point that after Hunter made his first words (mum-mum-mum then bub-bub-bub) ra-ra-ra qucickly followed!!

Needless to say, I am entering this page into this months sketch challenge - only my 2nd challenge ever!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Felicity from the 50's

Hi there blog followers!! 2 posts in 1 day - jeepers!!

Just sharing my card creation for my DT spot over at Angie Delarie Products.

I had heaps of fun (again) colouring in monotone - using again the Cool Grey's. I couldn't help myself from adding just a little bit of colour to make the image pop so I used B01 and B02 for both her eye's and the birdie :)
I have teamed the image with some of Heidi Swapp's older lines (No Limits) which I LOVE!! Inked some edges, did some stitching and and layered Felicity on top with foam dots.

Hope you like it!!

And just a close up of Felicity

As always, thank you for dropping by, have a great night :)

PL Week 10

Hi there!! yes, it's been a little while, sorry! I sort of lost my mojo for creating but thankfully have managed to stay mostly on top of my PL even though my blogging is WAY behind!! I have a few weeks to post starting with Week 10 today. Enjoy!

LHS

That "Wednesday" journalling card is actually a bi-fold card - we had a HUGE day and I had ALOT to say! I have decorated with washi (of course!!) and some of the goodies sent to me from Michelle for my DT work (I will be sharing on the store blog also!).

Here is the RHS

I also have 2 inserts for this week and also a 6x8 snap insert with hubby's birthday cards in it

Here is the front of the 1st insert (One of Cathy Zielske's templates)

And the back

I honestly can't remember if I threw this template together myself (most likely not!!) but can't for the life of me remember where I got it from so both apologies and thank you's to the person who did make this template if it wasn't me!

Front of insert 2

Back of insert 2

And finally last but not least both LHS and RHS together

As always, thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed looking at my week 10 :)

A scrapbook page!!

Hello there bloggers!!

Today I am sharing a traditional page that I have done to tick a few boxes.
First box - scrap a page from my niece's year 7 graduation (December 2011)
Second box - Use some of Angie's new digi stamps (as soon as I saw these I KNEW I was going to tick at least one thing off my very very long to do list!)
Third box - I am entering this into a sketch challenge over at Sassy Scrappers - my 1st ever entry into a scrap challenge so please don't be too harsh on me!!

First up here is the sketch

And you can buy Angie's new digi stamps here.

Now onto the page :D

I have used an Amy Tan paper for the background (yellow, chevron, can't go wrong!!) and some of my pieces of bazzill. I have printed Angie's images onto Stampin Up Crumb Cake card stock and inked all the edges with distress stain.  That is a Studio Calico chevron mask I have used and some gorgeous Heidi Swapp mustard colour shine on the back ground also borrowed this technique and coloured the title "grad" with colour shines and a paint brush.

And here is the result

As always, thank you for stopping by, I hope you like what you saw!!
